Protein is the constituent of human food. There are 24 amino acid which form different proteins. Source of protein is vegetables and animal. All enzymes are proteins and enzymes are bio-catalyst. Protein builds up body and increases immune power in human beings. Excess protein causes high blood pressure, obesity, arthritis, kidney disease. Lack of protein causes dwarfness, hair fall, weight loss, muscles weakness etc. Proteins are fibrous, globular, simple, mixed.
