The paper describes a method of non-destructive quality control of manufacturing ventilating pinholes by measuring the speed of an expiring aerosol-containing air flow using a coherent continuous lidar. A mathematical model is developed, with the help of which the optimal values of the parameters of the gas-generating and lidar systems are determined. The effect of the diameter of aerosol particles on the backscattering power is investigated.
