CULTURA MATERIAL DA BATALHA DO JENIPAPO

Este texto é parte da pesquisa de doutorado sobre a cultura material da Batalha do Jenipapo, ocorrida em 13 de março de 1823 em Campo Maior-PI, quando as tropas do Major Fidié atravessavam o rio Jenipapo rumo à capital Oeiras, com o intuito de combater as tropas independentes na capital da província. Apresentam-se também as evidências sobre os artefatos bélicos referenciados na bibliografia sobre a referida batalha, assim como aqueles remanescentes do campo de batalha que estão presentes no “Museu no Jenipapo”. Os mesmos fazem parte daquele acontecimento histórico e da memória dos combatentes da Batalha do Jenipapo. Material Culture of The Battle of Jenipapo ABSTRACTThis text is part of the PhD research on the material culture of the Battle of Jenipapo, held on March 13, 1823 in Campo Maior-PI, when Major Fidié's troops crossed the Jenipapo River towards the capital of Oeiras, in order to combat The independent troops in the provincial capital.
