Abstract Desktop PC monitors are usually optimized for displaying synthetic images and office productivity images. With the LightFrame™ technology an optimal reproduction of non‐synthetic images like video sequences or photos can be achieved without compromising the remaining areas displayed on the desktop. The LightFrame™ technology has been recently introduced through innovative image enhancement techniques implemented in LCD displays by means of a flexible proprietary device.
