The article analyzes the existing methods and techniques of cleaning parts and mechanisms that arecurrently used in railway transport. It’s proposed the implementation of a new modern resource-savingtechnology in cleaning of units and parts of locomotives by means of dry ice pellets, which can be used in arailway rolling stockdepot.The operation principles and benefits of cryogenic blasting are described.
