This article describes the available expert practice approaches to assess the actions of the participantsrail accident in conducting forensic examinations. Analyzed and identified the shortcomings of theseapproaches. Given the author's opinion regarding the improvement of the approach to assessing the actionsof members of railway accidents, and on this basis the main tasks that can be solved by carrying out thisexamination, and formulated a list of questions the methodology of the examination.
