
The study of the kinetics of dissolution of titanates to improve the sulfate method for the production of titanium dioxide from ilmenite

Dependences of dissolution speeds of various titanates from sulfuric acid concentration are investigated. The equation describing kinetic curves of ilmenite dissolution is offered. The method, allowing to receive titanium dioxide from ilmenite in sulfuric acid of concentration 0.1 mole per liter is found.
