The article considers the issues of structure formation in intensive plastic deformation of heterophase mechanical mixtures. Calculation of the coefficient of energy barrier overcoming is carried out as well as definition of the minimum permissible value of increase of an area of interparticle contact at the moment of formation of surface seizure.
