The article discusses the possibility of using integral variational principle of Hamilton-Ostrogradskiy to the practical issues of compilation of differential equations of autonomous small oscillations for a system with two degrees of freedom. System of differential equations of autonomous small oscillations and crystal pulling mechanism in the apparatus for growing silicon was obtained and solved, which allows to achieve elimination of resonance frequencies while designing an installation for silicon growing.
