Here we analyze prerequisites and risk factors resulting in stillbirth. For this, we searched for key words in the electronic databases Scopus, MedLine, The Cochrane Library, CyberLeninka, RSCI etc. Social and medical history (obstetric and gynecological history, previous and identified extragenital diseases prior to pregnancy), bad habits, anthropometry data and pregnancy complications were assessed. Factors unambiguously linked to increased risk of stillbirth were identified.
