The new law of the Russian Federation has made significant changes to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in order to strengthen the fight against organized crime. The efforts of the legislator aimed at improving the criminal legislation aimed at combating organized crime should be welcomed. However, in its present form, the new law raises a number of comments. Some shortcomings and controversial provisions of the new law are considered.
