We endeavour to provide a comprehensive summary of the medical and phytomedicinal printed materials and manuscripts written in Hungary between 1530 and 1711. Languages used were German, Latin and Hungarian. Topics focused primarily on preventing bubonic plague proliferation and presenting the therapeutic effects of medicinal herbs. In this study, we also refer to the main topics of phytomedicine horticulture.
