The article highlights the means of creating a comic effect in the evening show "RUSH" belonging to the broadcasting network of the music and entertainment radio station "Europe Plus". The author divides all means into two groups: extralinguistic and linguistic. Extralinguistic techniques are connected with the presenters’ behavioral characteristics and the program’s content elements. Linguistic techniques are based on the language mechanisms of creating the comic. It is concluded that the humor saturation of a broadcast depends on the personality of the radio presenter.
