The article considers the necessity, basic principles and goals of digital transformation of public administration, summarizes the results of work in the region to create conditions and infrastructure for the development of the digital economy and digital transformation of public administration, describes the experience of implementing a pilot project in the Tula region to create a superservice "Birth of a Child", identifies possible risks of digitalization of the provision of state and municipal services.
