The author tries to give a positive answer to the following question: Do the logically true sentences ( deductive analysis) carry any new information about the world? Within the analysis of Hintikka's and Carnap's positions it is possible to give a positive answer to the above question but only if Hintikka's view is somewhat revised. As the most adequate revision, the author suggests, is Ranatala's analysis.
