Museum Anthropology, vol. 14, no. 3, p. 27, contained the translation of what must be considered a highly garbled account of one of the most unusual stones in the history of anthropology museums: the impending return to the Museum fur Volkerkunde in Berlin of approximately 45,000 objects that were believed to have perished in the final days of World War II. Here is a more accurate and updated version of what has happened.
