This article is based on some text annotations related to parts of the first chapters of the anti-epicurean polemic work Non posse suaviter vivi secundum Epicurum, written by Plutarch. Far from proposing a conclusive inference about some of the controversial interpretations made out of Plutarch’s work, this article aims - on the contrary - to present some observations of the text for contributing to further discussions on this matter.
