Renewable energy in Poland
Nowadays the renewables is a dynamically developing branch of industry, also in Poland. Electrical energy production based on mineral resources will give way to energy from renewable sources, whose main feature is their inexhaustibility. The article concentrates on the use of green energy, pointing out advantages, barriers and consequences of using alternative sources of energy. The Polish government has worked out a strategy of development of renewable energy which postulates raising renewable energy target from primary sources to 15% by 2020 in the total consumption of electrical energy in Poland.
