The article considers the problem of budgetary savings,
particularly from inflated prices of the state procurement. A comparative
analysis of the existing methods for determin-ing the initial
price of state procurement is given, the list of possible sources of infor-
mation about prices on goods and services is given. The obtained
results can be used by customers, who are interested in achieving
budgetary savings.
