The Editorial Policy Committee of the Brazilian Finance Review approvedto increase the number of issues per year from 3 to 4 during 2009. Thus, itis my pleasure to announce that the publication of issue 3 of volume 7 (thisissue) has been anticipated from December to September of the current yearand that we will publish a new issue in December. The growth in the numberof submissions and the quality of the articles published enable thisimportant step towards the consolidation of RBFin. In the beginning, in2003, we published two issues per year, in 2008 we published 3 issues and wehave already reached 4 issues per year in 2009, fulfilling one of theinitial objectives of the Review which was to be a quarterly publication assoon as it consolidated.
