INTELSAT is an organisation which owns and operates an international commercial communication satellite system. This case study outlines how significant issues threatening the ability and capacity of the organization to survive were overcome by a classic corporate turnaround. The key to achieving this turnaround was the introduction of human resource policies aimed at effectively motivating, utilizing and rewarding staff.
