Marie Curie – Genome Architecture in Relation to Disease

The VU University Medical Center is proud to open its doors to welcome you at the first of five MC-GARD.eu meetings in our historic city of Amsterdam. With excitement and pride I present to you the fore laying programme; offering a world class line up of speakers spread over 4 days, with a generous sundry of social activities and plenty of time for posters and exhibitors. We are indebted to the European Community for endorsing these meetings. Their support is aimed at training and education of especially early-stage researchers to fully appreciate the dynamic environment of genomics and to develop and implement new research and diagnostic techniques in the field of genome architecture in relation to disease. Please also visit the company exhibits during the breaks and poster session and thank them, with me, for sponsoring the social activities. This contribution is much valued since it is my experience that the social interactions are a quintessential vehicle for rapid dissemination of developments amongst researchers in our entire field and the research-based industries that serve them.
