S ummary . Teachers and assistants using the Peabody Language Development Kit (level P) as part of the EPA Action Research Project were interviewed. Opinions as to the worth and efficacy of the Kit varied widely and seemed to be largely determined by the personality of the teacher concerned. None of the interviewees had a clear idea of the principles underlying the construction of the Kit.
