We report an extremely unique histologically proven case of an isolated primary pleural granulocytic sarcoma (chloroma) in a 44‐year‐old woman who had sustained complete remission for 14 years after being treated for a Hodgkin's lymphoma. There was no history of myelogenous leukemia, which typically precedes chloroma. The prognosis was dismal as the patient died 2 weeks after diagnosis.
