Congenital aniridia is a rare, occurring on both sides always malformation of the eye. It occurs at about 1/50 000 births. This feature is inherited. One of ocular manifestation of congenital aniridia is macular hypoplasia which have significant impact for visual aquity and development of vision in early childhood. Fovea and macular structure is changed.
