Summary This part of the special interest symposium gives an overview about the features on OCT that can be seen in the context of age‐related macular degeneration ( AMD ). The role of OCT in diagnosis, treatment guidance, and the functional relevance are the topics approached. In addition, the signs that need to be distinguished in order to avoid misleading interpretation are presented. The overview focuses on topics with clinical relevance, using numerous imaging examples.
