A bstract : Immune dysfunction has been found to be associated with diabetes mellitus. Tungstate treatment restored the number and function of immune cells as well as the immunoglobulin level in STZ diabetic rats. This indicated the immunomodulatory effect of tungstate in diabetics and would be effective in inhibiting diabetic‐induced alterations.
