A bstract : The objective of this work is to develop a general and predictive hydrate model for hydrates in equilibrium with brines. The model developed only needs the ionic radius, the charge on the ions, and the concentration of each salt to predict the inhibition effect of the salts in the brines. The model has proven to be consistent with experimental data.
