Saudi Arabia may be about to try again to revive its neglected natural gas industry. For some years, the kingdom has been trying to develop its enormous reserves of natural gas, but has been unable to decide what sort of role‐if any‐foreign companies should have, or whether upstream gas developments should be linked to downstream projects such as power generation.
