SUMMARY A genetic model was fitted to observed curd colours in a segregating cauliflower population derived from crosses between white and green curded types. The model was of a gene ( Wi wi ) giving white dominant over yellow, and an independent codominant gene ( gr1 gr2 ) for green‐ness.
