Obesity in transplant donors and recipients can result in complications, and many transplant centers have BMI cutoffs. This month, “The AJT Report” explores BMI as an appropriate measure of transplant candidacy, and looks at whether the “obesity paradox” in dialysis patients might extend to transplantation.
