This report describes an attempt to treat recurrent ventricular tachycardia by catheter electrode ablation. The procedure failed to control the arrhythmia and resulted in a Q‐wave anteroseptal myocardial infarction. The potential complications of catheter electrode ablation in the normal ventricle are emphasized.
