This paper is not intended to serve as an all inclusive documentation of respiratory tract neoplasms in domestic animals. Rather I will attempt to highlight the major sites and types of neoplasia that affect each species (Table I). In this way, a general overview of the problem can be gained by the reader. In some instances I have tried to suggest further areas of research that may aid in the development of a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, etiopathogenesis and prophylaxis of these lesions.
