SUMMARY Two methods of preparing tungstic acid gel, an epileptogenic agent, and its use in the production of focal motor and sensory epilepsy are described. Epilepsy produced by this agent is characterized by good localization, short latency and limited duration. It is effective in cerebral cortex, brain stem and spinal cord.
