The fixation disparity curve has been measured over intervals of minutes, days and months. Two female adults with good binocular visual function were the subjects. The data indicate that significant shifts in the placement of the curve can take place over a period of several days. Over a period of 5 months, repeated measurement of the fixation disparity curve shows that the curve tends to keep the same form but shifts upwards or downwards on the y ‐axis.
