The article reports on an information technology and education project that was developed at Glasgow Caledonian University which evaluates students' work in a diploma and degree program. College students submit their course work assignments to the college professors or external assessors in electronic form on compact discs (CD). The concern about the security of the course work, feedback, and module documentation that is recorded on the CD and the advantages of using CDs to lessen the workload of college teachers and external examiners are mentioned.
