Paxillibracon gen.n. (type species: Merinotus tessmanni Szépligeti, 1914) from Spanish Guinea is described and illustrated. Paxillibracon is related to Bacuma Cameron, from which it is distinguished. Tsavobracon gen.n. (type species: Ipobracon erlangeri Szépligeti, 1914) from Somalia and Kenya is described and illustrated, and separated from Digonogastra Viereck. It is associated with the dry season fauna of semi‐arid areas.
