A prostagladin analogue, 16‐16‐Dimethyl‐trans‐Δ 2 ‐PGE 1 methyl ester from ONO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was studied by the vaginal administration of suppositories for termination of early and 2nd trimesters of pregnancy. Clinical efficacy and side effects were observed and evaluated.
