Two cases of gastro‐collc fistulae complicating benign gastric ulcer are reported. This brings the reported cases to 65, (40 of which have been reported In the past ten years). It Is postulated that this condition Is related to the use of anti‐inflammatory agents. Methods of preoperative preparation, and in particular, the use of total parenteral nutrition, antibiotic bowel preparation and Clmetidlne are discussed.
