A new technique of non‐refluxing gastrostomy using the appendix is described for long‐term feeding of children. The appendix is transplanted on its vascular pedicle and serves as a catheterizable non‐refluxing conduit. The technique can be utilized when the appendix is available near the stomach as in malrotation.
