Abstract Zenargomyia moorei, a new genus and species of Tachinidae, parasitic upon the sawfly Zenarge turneri Rohwer in Australia, is described. The uncertain systematic position of the new genus is discussed and notes are given on the affinities of the Australian tachinid genus Froggattimyia Townsend, to which the new genus is possibly related.
