Summary Here we describe a rare case of pulmonary mucormycosis and simultaneous cervical lymphadenitis in a patient with acute myeloid leukaemia. The patient was successfully treated with liposomal amphotericin B. The diagnosis of Mucor is very difficult, especially in severely immunocompromised patients. This report seems to be the first case about documented lymph node involvement by mucormycosis in humans.
