Zusammenfassung: Bei der Behandlung einer Kryptokokkose mit Amphotericin B war es zu einer Schädigung des Lungen‐Surfactant gekommen. Es wurde nunmehr tierexperimentell überprüft, ob die prophylaktische Gabe von Ambroxol diese Begleiterscheinung des Antimykotikum verhindert bzw. vermindert. Die vorliegenden Untersuchungsergebnisse sprechen dafür, so daß eine zusätzliche Ambroxol‐Behandlung bei der Therapie von Lungenmykosen mit Amphotericin B empfohlen werden kann. Summary: Using Amphotericine B for the treatment of a case suffering from a cryptococcosis resulted in a damage of pulmonary surfactant. Animal experiments were carried out to investigate whether prophylactically given Ambroxol prevents or diminishes these side effects of Amphotericine B. The results allow us to recommend a concomitant therapy of Ambroxol and Amphotericine B for the treatment of pulmonary mycosis.
