An extract of seeds from Parthenocissus tricuspidata strongly agglutinated red blood cells (RBC) coated with C3b. RBC coated with C3d, C4b or C4d and noncomplement‐coated RBC were very weakly agglutinated. There was no correlation of reactivity with RBC groups.
