ABSTRACT Unwashed carcasses of swine (58), sheep (59), and beef (58) were assessed for the incidence of Campylobacter fetus spp. jejuni. The potential pathogen was present on 38% of the swine, 24% of the sheep, and 2% of the beef carcasses examined. This study serves to point out the association of the pathogen within food marketing channels.
