SUMMARY Epidermis was removed from skin using a dermatome. Specific, high affinity, low capacity binding proteins for [ 3 H]‐dexamethasone were identified in the cytosol having an apparent K d of 14×10 ‐9 mol/1 with approximately 95 fmol of binding sites per mg protein.
