The effects of edge chamfers on the resonant frequency of rectangular bar‐shaped ceramic specimens, as well as their effect on the dynamic elastic modulus, have been studied. A correction factor must be applied to obtain the true elastic moduli of specimen bars with chamfered or rounded edges.
