Phase equilibria were determined by standard quench methods in binary systems NIO‐B 2 O 3 , the binary join Li 2 O.B 2 O 3 ‐NiO, and three other sections through the Li 2 O.B 2 O 3 ‐B 2 O 3 ‐NiO system. The only new compound observed was 2NiO.B 2 O 3 , which is stable from 1303° to 1480°C.
