Allometry of haematological parameters (haematocrit, erythrocyte number, mean cell volume and haemoglobin concentration) of Basilichthys australis , suggested that small individuals and juveniles had larger red blood cells, less haemoglobin per volume of blood, and more diluted plasma than large and mature animals.
