Span and Wagner (1996) systematically assessed the data of the pressure-volume-temperature properties and other thermodynamic properties of carbon dioxide (CO2), and established a very accurate CO2 free energy model, which is abbreviated as SW here. Over the past twenty years, many new experimental PVT data of CO2 have been reported (Table 1). The purpose of this work is to briefly evaluate the accuracies of these data.
